Diana Yang joined Kairos in 2024 as Managing Director, Investor Relations. Ms. Yang leads the Investor Relations team, focusing on the firm’s strategic growth and capital formation across the firm’s various private equity, credit and impact strategies.
Ms. Yang brings a wealth of experience in institutional capital formation and investing. Prior to joining KIMC, Ms. Yang served as an investor and a senior product and business development strategist at BlackRock. She joined BlackRock’s private markets real estate business to invest on behalf of commingled and discretionary funds and accounts. Ms. Yang was most recently responsible for product development, business development and capital formation for the firm’s flagship private markets social impact strategy, BlackRock Impact Opportunities (“BIO”). BIO focuses on private investments to unlock economic mobility in undercapitalized communities that continue to face barriers to wealth creation. In addition, Ms. Yang launched and led the strategy’s dedicated co-invest program, offering opportunities to clients and prospects alike. Ms. Yang served on BlackRock Women’s Initiative Network’s Los Angeles head.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Ms. Yang was a director, real estate investor and senior originator at CIT Bank. Prior to CIT, she served as vice president, underwriter and portfolio manager at MUFG Union Bank (formerly PB Capital). In 2017, Ms. Yang was named one of the Commercial Observer’s Top 25 Under 35: The Lenders and Debt Brokers to Watch in 2017. She also has experience in social policy and foreign direct investment consulting.
Ms. Yang holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
