Melissa Sharick joined Kairos in 2025 as Managing Director – Asset Management. Ms. Sharick leads the Asset Management team, focusing on strategic direction and business plan execution across the Multifamily portfolio. She is deeply focused on problem solving and value creation from a portfolio level with the goal of maximizing investor returns at all stages of the investment.

Ms. Sharick has 20 years of commercial real estate experience, encompassing investment and asset management, acquisitions and development across a wide range of ownership structures including limited partnerships, syndications, institutional joint ventures and closed-end funds.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as Executive Vice President, Asset Management at The Conam Group, where she was responsible for portfolio oversight including acquisition takeover, financing, dispositions, capital and renovation management, investor reporting and business plan execution. Before transitioning into investment management, she held the role of Vice President of Acquisitions at Interwest Capital Corp, where she was instrumental in growing the portfolio through strategic joint-venture investments in multi-family, hospitality and retail, with a focus on unique historic properties and broken tax credit structures. Throughout her career, she has transacted on commercial real estate investments in excess of $3.5 billion.

Ms. Sharick serves on the Board of Directors for the National Apartment Association, the NMHC Emerging Leaders Committee and formerly served on the Board of Directors for NAIOP San Diego. Ms. Sharick earned her Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of San Diego and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
