Job Summary:

KIMC is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to support the Equity team, including the Value-Add, CorePlus, and Affordable strategies. The Senior Investment Analyst will support the underwriting process and assist with portfolio management demonstrating working knowledge in deal underwriting and financial modeling across all asset classes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Underwriting new deals and performing financial analyses on existing investments.
  • Including fee, joint venture, and preferred equity investments across Value-Add, CorePlus, and Affordable strategies.
  • Preparing Investment Memorandums presented to the Investment Committee for capital transactions – primarily acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing of assets.
  • Investment Analysts will have opportunities to present to Investment Committee.
  • Support the Investment Management Team in arranging financing on new and existing investments as well as in other investment management functions.
  • Studying markets for industry-specific trends, rent comparable analyses, and sale comparable analyses.
  • Specific projects and other functions as required by the Investment Management Team.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of industry experience.
  • Excel and Argus modeling proficiency.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills – both oral and written.
  • Demonstrates the highest degree of integrity and work ethic, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering quality work product.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation:

The annual U.S. based wage range for this full-time position is $100,000 – $110,000. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location and experience and will take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of health & wellness benefits.
