Mario Alamilla joined Kairos in 2023 as Investment Director. Mr. Alamilla has over 20 years of experience with conventional and affordable, multifamily assets with specialization in acquisitions, disposition, financial structuring, and investment management.

Prior to joining Kairos, Mr. Alamilla worked at a national equity syndicator with properties in 45 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Saipan. During his tenure, he oversaw and financial engineered over $2 billion in equity investments. His portfolio consisted of over 48 proprietary and multi-investor funds, containing over 250 partnership entities. Mr. Alamilla has also held leadership positions for various real estate investment firms including an award-winning nonprofit affordable housing developer and a major utility provider.

Mr. Alamilla holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from Brandman University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
